Terms of Use
These terms cover using Formation Lab, operated by Slip3 Studios. By using Formation Lab, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You are agreeing as the coach, and you are an adult. Players do not have accounts.
Account
You can draw your first play without an account. After that, you create an account with Apple, Google, or email. You are responsible for keeping access to that account.
You can delete your account in the app under Settings → Account, or from Account on the website. Deletion removes your playbook from our servers. It does not cancel a subscription.
Your content
You own what you draw. We do not claim ownership of your plays, teams, formations, or notes. You give us permission to store, sync, and display them so Formation Lab can run, and no other right. You may export and share them as Formation Lab allows.
Acceptable use
Do not use Formation Lab for unlawful purposes, abuse the service, reverse engineer it, or resell it.
If you break these rules, we may suspend or delete the account.
Purchases
Formation Lab is free to try. A paid plan unlocks more capacity and removes the mark from printed sheets. Videos may still show the Formation Lab mark. The same plans are sold in the app and on the website. Prices are shown where you buy, not on this page.
If you buy in the app, Apple processes the payment. If you buy on the website, Stripe processes the payment.
- Season Pass — 90 days. It does not renew.
- Monthly — renews until you cancel.
- Annual — renews until you cancel.
Renewal and cancellation
A Monthly or Annual plan renews unless you cancel it. Cancel an App Store subscription at least 24 hours before the period ends, in Settings on your device or in the App Store. Cancel a subscription bought on the website from Manage Plan on your account.
A Season Pass ends after 90 days. There is nothing to cancel. On the website, past website payments are under Receipts.
Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds
We cannot refund an App Store purchase. Request that from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. For a charge from the website, email slip3studios@gmail.com.
When a paid plan ends
Your plays stay. Free-tier limits return, as shown in the app and on the website.
Disclaimer
Formation Lab is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of Formation Lab after a change means you accept the new terms. The Last updated date will change when we update them.
